A sculptural display serif with wedge-like, flared serifs and pronounced high-contrast modeling. Many strokes show sharp, triangular cut-ins and tapered joins that create an ink-trap-like bite, giving counters a carved, faceted feel. Round letters (C, O, Q, e, o) lean toward ovoid forms with deep, curved interior scoops, while verticals remain stout and steady. The overall rhythm is punchy and compact in texture, with distinctive, sometimes idiosyncratic shaping across capitals, lowercase, and numerals that emphasizes silhouette over neutrality.

Best suited to display typography such as magazine headlines, striking poster titles, and brand marks where the sculpted serifs and sharp internal cuts can be appreciated. It can also work for packaging or short editorial callouts that benefit from a dramatic, vintage-leaning voice. For longer passages, it will be most successful at larger sizes with generous leading to avoid an overly heavy texture.

The font reads as assertive and stylized, with a vintage editorial flair and a hint of Art Deco theatrics. Its sharp cut-ins and dramatic contrast convey sophistication and tension—more “headline” than “body,” and more “poster” than “document.” The tone feels confident, slightly quirky, and intentionally attention-seeking.

The design appears intended as a distinctive, high-impact serif that modernizes classical contrast with carved cut-ins and wedge terminals. Rather than aiming for conventional readability, it prioritizes memorable letterform silhouettes and a dramatic, editorial presence for prominent typographic roles.

The most recognizable signature is the recurring triangular notches and wedge terminals, which create strong internal sparkle and a chiseled texture at larger sizes. Numerals follow the same carved, contrasty logic, helping mixed text feel consistent in voice. In dense settings the strong black shapes dominate, so spacing and size will be key to maintain clarity.
