A condensed serif with tall proportions, compact sidebearings, and a pronounced vertical rhythm. Strokes show clear contrast with sturdy, hairline-like serifs that are mostly bracketed, giving joins a slightly softened transition rather than abrupt slab endings. Curves are narrow and controlled (notably in C, G, S, and the numerals), while verticals stay dominant and straight. The lowercase is compact with a two-storey g, a narrow e, and a relatively small, contained aperture overall; ascenders are tall and terminals are clean and crisp.

Well-suited to headlines and subheads in magazines, newspapers, and other editorial layouts where a compact width helps fit more characters per line without losing a traditional serif feel. It can also work for book and article titles, pull quotes, and poster typography that benefits from a classic, space-efficient voice.

The overall tone is traditional and editorial, with a poised, slightly severe elegance that reads as bookish and authoritative. Its narrow build and sharp detailing lend a sense of discipline and formality, reminiscent of classic print typography used where space is precious but a conservative voice is desired.

The design appears intended to deliver a conventional serif reading experience in a condensed footprint, prioritizing vertical clarity, crisp detailing, and consistent texture for editorial composition.

Caps appear especially tall and commanding, creating strong headline presence while maintaining a classical serif character. Numerals follow the same condensed logic, with distinctive, compact forms that keep text color even in tight settings.
