A compact serif with a narrow footprint and tall lowercase proportions, set on mostly upright, vertical stress. Strokes show moderate modulation and a slightly “inked” feel: joins and corners often thicken or pinch subtly, suggesting ink-trap-like shaping and sturdy bracketing. Serifs are small but distinct, with occasional flaring and squared-off terminals that give the forms a press-printed rhythm. Curves are slightly taut and uneven in a controlled way, and counters run tight, producing a dense, emphatic texture in text.

Best suited to editorial headlines, pull quotes, and compact titling where a dense, authoritative texture is helpful. It can also work well for packaging and labels that want a vintage or utilitarian voice, and for poster typography where the narrow width supports tight layouts without losing presence.

The overall tone reads vintage and utilitarian, with a dry, mechanical cadence reminiscent of typewritten or letterpress material. At the same time, the slightly quirky curves and terminal treatments add personality, making it feel more characterful than purely neutral text serifs.

The design appears intended to blend traditional serif structure with a deliberately mechanical, print-era flavor, prioritizing a strong vertical rhythm and distinctive terminals for recognizable voice in display and short-text settings.

Uppercase forms appear disciplined and condensed, while the lowercase carries much of the font’s character through tall ascenders, compact bowls, and distinctive terminal shaping. Numerals share the same narrow, sturdy construction, keeping color consistent in mixed editorial settings.
