A compact serif with subtly flared stroke endings and softly bracketed serifs. Strokes show moderate modulation, with tapered joins and rounded terminals that keep the texture lively rather than rigid. Counters are relatively tight and the overall fit is compact, giving a dense, even color in text. The lowercase has gently organic shaping—noticeable in the two-storey a and g and the curved, slightly hooked descenders—while capitals maintain a sturdy, traditional proportion with crisp internal shaping.

Well suited to long-form editorial typography—books, magazines, essays, and academic or cultural writing—where a dense, steady rhythm is desirable. It can also serve branding and packaging that want a classic, slightly humanist serif presence, and performs well for pull quotes and headlines that benefit from its compact, confident forms.

The tone is traditional and bookish with a warm, slightly handmade undercurrent. Its flared detailing and tapered terminals add a quiet authority that feels editorial and literary rather than corporate or mechanical.

The design appears intended to blend traditional serif conventions with flared, calligraphic finishing to create a warm, text-forward face. It aims for dependable readability and an even typographic color while adding subtle personality through tapered terminals and gently animated curves.

Figures appear oldstyle, with varying heights and pronounced curvature, which reinforces a text-oriented, classical voice. The face remains readable at paragraph sizes, and its compact spacing and sturdy serifs help hold lines together without looking heavy.
