A sharply cut serif with dramatic thick–thin modulation and fine hairline serifs that taper to crisp points. Curves are smooth and tightly controlled, with a slightly vertical stress and clean join behavior that keeps counters open even as stroke contrast rises. Capitals feel stately and compact with sturdy main stems, while the lowercase uses traditional book proportions, delicate entry/exit strokes, and a two-storey “g” with a small ear. Numerals follow the same high-contrast logic, with clear, classical shapes and narrow hairline details that read best when given sufficient size or print-quality rendering.

Well suited to magazines, literary publishing, and other editorial layouts where elegance and hierarchy matter. It can serve as a refined display face for headlines and pull quotes, and also as a premium-feeling text serif when reproduction quality supports its fine details.

The overall tone is cultured and authoritative, with a distinctly editorial polish. Its high-contrast refinement suggests luxury and tradition rather than casual or utilitarian settings, giving text a poised, literary voice.

The design appears intended as a modern, high-contrast interpretation of classical text serifs: prioritizing elegance, sharp finishing, and a rhythmic page color that feels at home in editorial and book typography.

In continuous text, the lively contrast creates a bright texture: strong verticals anchor the line while hairline serifs and thin horizontals add sparkle. At smaller sizes or in low-resolution environments, the finest strokes may require careful sizing and spacing to maintain clarity.
