A rough-edged display face with heavy, irregular strokes and abrupt, thorny protrusions along terminals and joins. Letterforms lean slightly with a hand-cut rhythm and visibly uneven contours, creating a distressed silhouette rather than clean curves. Counters are often tight and somewhat misshapen, and widths vary noticeably from glyph to glyph, giving lines of text a restless, organic texture. Diacritics and punctuation follow the same torn, ink-bitten logic, with dots and small marks appearing sharp and irregular.

Well-suited for short, high-impact settings such as horror and thriller posters, haunted attractions, Halloween campaigns, game and film titles, and gritty album or mixtape artwork. It also works for chapter openers, pull quotes, and packaging or labels where an intentionally distressed, menacing voice is desired, rather than continuous reading.

The overall tone is ominous and aggressive, evoking horror title cards, cursed manuscripts, and gritty underground ephemera. Its jagged edges and unstable outlines feel volatile and unsettling, lending an immediate sense of danger and unease.

The design appears intended to simulate hand-made, distressed lettering—like torn paper stencils or rough brush/ink marks—while keeping recognizable, fairly straightforward structures for rapid thematic signaling. Its purpose is to deliver immediate atmosphere and intensity through texture, taper, and jagged terminal behavior.

In longer passages the texture becomes dense and noisy, with the rough contouring doing much of the visual work; the face reads best when given ample size and spacing. Rounded letters (like O/C) retain a carved, chipped perimeter, while vertical strokes often end in tapering, fang-like points that reinforce the threatening mood.
