A serifed roman with an intentionally rough, broken outline that mimics worn letterpress or over-inked printing. Strokes are slender and slightly uneven, with small wedge-like serifs and subtly irregular terminals that create a deckled edge effect. Counters stay mostly open and readable, while curves (C, G, O, e) show gentle waviness and small nicks along the perimeter. Proportions lean on classic book-type shapes, with modest ascenders/descenders and a clear, straightforward rhythm; figures are similarly distressed and lightly uneven in width.

Well-suited for display and short-to-medium text where a vintage, printed-on-paper feel is desired: book jackets, editorial pull quotes, posters, menus, and packaging labels. It can also work for immersive UI or game text when an aged-document tone is needed, especially at moderate-to-large sizes.

The texture reads as archival and timeworn, suggesting old paper, vintage ephemera, and analog printing artifacts. It feels literary and handcrafted rather than polished, adding a quiet grit that can make text feel found, historical, or slightly eerie depending on context.

Designed to combine familiar serif letterforms with a controlled distressed texture, recreating the look of aged type impressions and imperfect ink transfer. The goal appears to be adding atmosphere and authenticity while keeping the underlying structure readable.

The distressing is consistent across the set—more like edge wear than heavy grunge—so longer passages remain legible while still carrying visible texture. The effect is strongest at larger sizes, where the ragged contours and ink-like breaks become part of the personality.
