A serif text face with slender strokes and a deliberately rough, ink-worn edge. The letterforms keep a largely classical skeleton, but contours are slightly uneven, with softened terminals, occasional nicks, and subtly irregular curves that suggest imperfect printing or aged type. Serifs are modest and bracketed, with a calm rhythm and moderate modulation that reads well in continuous text while still showing surface texture. Numerals and capitals share the same distressed finish, maintaining consistent color and an intentionally imperfect texture across the set.

This font works especially well for book covers, editorial pull quotes, and literary branding where a printed, archival feel is desirable. It can add character to posters, menus, or packaging that aim for handcrafted authenticity. For long passages, it suits settings where a slightly textured, organic page color is an asset rather than a distraction.

The overall tone feels vintage and literary, like an old paperback or a well-used letterpress piece. Its gentle irregularity adds warmth and personality without becoming chaotic, giving text a handmade, timeworn character. The texture also introduces a slightly quirky, storybook mood that can feel informal and approachable.

The design appears intended to capture the feel of traditional serif type that has been worn by time and printing processes, combining a readable text structure with purposeful surface degradation. It balances familiar proportions with tactile irregularities to evoke authenticity and human touch in display and text applications.

Texture is carried through both straight stems and curved bowls, with the most visible roughness along outer contours and at serif tips. Spacing appears comfortable for reading, and the distressed details remain apparent at larger sizes while becoming more subtle as size decreases.
