A sharply angular, condensed blackletter with strong vertical emphasis and faceted, chisel-like stroke endings. Strokes stay largely uniform in thickness, with most modulation coming from hard corners and notches rather than calligraphic contrast. Counters are narrow and tall, and many forms rely on straight stems with small diagonal cuts and wedge terminals, producing a rigid, architectural rhythm. Capitals are similarly narrow and upright, with simplified blackletter structure that prioritizes height and tight spacing over ornate detailing.

Best suited to short, high-impact settings such as posters, headlines, album artwork, labels, and identity marks where a gothic texture is desired. It can also work for ceremonial or historical-themed materials (invitations, certificates, signage) when set large enough to keep the tight counters and dense vertical rhythm clear.

The overall tone is stern and ceremonial, evoking historical manuscripts, engraved title lettering, and gothic signage. Its narrow proportions and pointed joins feel intense and authoritative, with a slightly ominous, dramatic edge that reads as traditional rather than playful.

The design appears intended to deliver a compact, highly vertical blackletter voice with a clean, faceted construction—more rigid and streamlined than ornate—so it can serve as striking display typography while retaining a traditional gothic character.

The numerals follow the same tall, condensed construction, with angular turns and tight internal space; the “0” appears as a narrow vertical oval. The lowercase shows consistent vertical rhythm and repetitive stem patterns typical of blackletter, which can create a strong texture in paragraphs but increases the need for generous size and spacing for readability.
