A textured serif with softly irregular, inked edges and gently modulated strokes that suggest printed or penned origins rather than rigid geometry. Serifs are small to moderate and often wedge-like or lightly bracketed, with terminals that flare or taper in a calligraphic way. The proportions are warm and slightly varied, with open counters and a steady, readable rhythm; curves (C, G, S) show subtle swelling, and diagonals (V, W, Y) have crisp, chiseled joins. Numerals and lowercase maintain the same organic, slightly roughened finish, giving the set a cohesive, hand-made color on the page.

Well-suited to book covers, headings, and short-to-medium editorial text where a classic voice with tactile character is desirable. It also fits packaging, labels, and identity work aiming for heritage or artisanal cues, and works effectively for posters or pull quotes when set with generous size and leading.

The overall tone feels traditional and personable—evoking vintage book typography, folk print, and craft-forward editorial design. Its mild roughness and lively stroke behavior add charm and approachability without turning into novelty.

The design appears intended to blend old-style readability with a subtly distressed, hand-printed surface, offering a traditional serif palette that feels less formal and more crafted. It aims to deliver historical warmth and personality while remaining practical for display and paragraph settings.

At larger sizes the edge texture and tapered details become a defining feature; at smaller sizes the same texture can add visual grain, making spacing and line length more important for comfortable reading. The letterforms keep a consistent baseline and posture, but small variations in terminal shapes and stroke endings create an intentionally human, slightly weathered impression.
