A high-contrast serif with sculpted, flaring stroke endings and pronounced bracketed serifs that give the letterforms a carved, chiseled feel. Strokes transition abruptly from thick verticals to thin hairlines, with sharp triangular terminals and tapered joins that keep counters open and forms crisp. Proportions are moderately compact with steady cap height and a balanced, readable x-height; curves (notably in C, G, O, and S) show controlled modulation and slightly pointed apex/vertex treatment. Numerals follow the same contrast and serif logic, reading distinctly with strong vertical emphasis and fine, crisp details.

Well suited to headlines, magazine and newspaper-style editorial typography, book covers, and branded communications that need a classic, authoritative voice. It can also work for short-to-medium passages where a crisp, high-contrast texture is desired, especially at sizes large enough to preserve the fine hairlines and sharp terminals.

The overall tone is traditional and editorial, conveying authority and polish without feeling overly delicate. Its dramatic contrast and flared finishing strokes add a hint of ceremonial or classical gravitas, making text feel deliberate and premium.

The design appears intended to blend traditional serif structure with a more sculptural, flared finish, producing a distinctive, premium reading texture. It emphasizes contrast and crisp detailing to create impact in display settings while retaining enough discipline and regularity for structured editorial use.

In text, the strong thick–thin rhythm creates a lively texture, while the sharp terminals and tight inner details suggest it will reward generous sizes and comfortable line spacing. The lowercase shows clear differentiation between similar shapes (such as i/l and c/e), supporting legibility while maintaining a refined, display-leaning personality.
