A blackletter-inspired display face with condensed proportions, steep vertical stress, and sharply tapered terminals. Strokes are heavy and angular, with pronounced contrast between thick stems and thinner connecting strokes, and a strongly faceted, cut-paper silhouette. Edges are intentionally roughened with irregular contours and small interior voids that suggest worn metal type or imperfect ink transfer. The lowercase maintains compact, upright forms with tight apertures, while capitals have sturdy, blocky construction and minimal roundness. Numerals follow the same compressed, high-impact structure with distinctive, jagged curves.

Best suited for display contexts such as posters, title treatments, horror or fantasy branding, album/merch graphics, labels, and event promos where a historical or sinister mood is desired. It also works well for logos or wordmarks that benefit from a gritty, hand-printed character.

The overall tone is archaic and dramatic, evoking medieval printing, occult ephemera, and gritty storytelling. Its distressed texture adds a tactile, handmade energy that feels ominous, rustic, and a bit rebellious rather than polished or ceremonial.

The design appears intended to deliver an old-world blackletter voice with a deliberately imperfect, worn surface—like letterforms pulled from aged wood type or distressed printing blocks—prioritizing atmosphere and impact over neutrality.

Texture is consistent across glyphs, creating a cohesive “aged print” effect that becomes more apparent at larger sizes. Counters and joins can fill in visually in dense settings, and the rough edges introduce a lively rhythm that favors short runs over long reading passages.
