A dense blackletter with sharp, angular construction and pronounced thick–thin contrast. Strokes end in spiky wedges and hooked terminals, with frequent “broken” joins that mimic pen-lifted, chiseled forms. The outlines carry a rough, inked texture that makes counters and joints feel slightly irregular and hand-cut. Lowercase is compact and vertical, while capitals are more ornamental and varied, with strong diagonal kicks and heavy interior shading that heightens the weight and drama. Numerals follow the same jagged rhythm, mixing curved bowls with pointed serifs and tapered entry strokes.

Best suited for display typography where its texture and angular detail can be appreciated—titles, posters, logos, packaging, and themed editorial headers. It works especially well for fantasy, gothic, horror, or historical motifs, and for short phrases that benefit from strong atmosphere rather than maximum readability.

The font reads as medieval and ceremonial, with a dark, dramatic tone suited to ominous or arcane themes. Its roughened edges and aggressive terminals add a gritty, handmade energy that feels more rustic than polished. Overall, it evokes old proclamations, black metal ephemera, and gothic storytelling.

The design appears intended to deliver an expressive blackletter voice with a deliberately distressed, hand-rendered finish. It prioritizes atmosphere and historical flavor, using broken strokes, spiked terminals, and heavy contrast to create a bold, theatrical presence.

Texture and inner notches create lively sparkle at larger sizes but can close up in small settings, especially where heavy strokes pinch the counters. Spacing appears uneven by design, contributing to an expressive, handcrafted rhythm rather than a strictly regular text color.
