A distressed display serif with jagged, eroded contours and an uneven inked texture that suggests worn letterpress or aged stamping. Stems are relatively slim with moderate thick–thin shifts, and many terminals break into small nicks and burrs rather than clean cuts. Serifs feel bracketed and somewhat sharp, with irregular join behavior that keeps the rhythm lively and imperfect. Spacing and widths vary across glyphs, contributing to a handmade, slightly unstable line color in both uppercase and lowercase.

Best suited to short headlines and titles where the distressed texture can be read as intentional character—horror and Halloween graphics, vintage or occult-themed posters, book covers, and album art. It can also work for pull quotes or short packaging copy when you want an aged, printed-from-type feeling, but the rough edges will dominate at small sizes.

The face conveys an antique, haunted-page atmosphere—part historical document, part grit and decay. Its roughened edges and irregular printing texture create a tense, spooky tone that reads as vintage, mysterious, and slightly abrasive rather than polished or modern.

The design appears intended to mimic aged ink on paper and the imperfections of old printing methods, combining a traditional serif structure with heavy outline erosion to create atmosphere and narrative texture.

Uppercase forms carry a medieval-leaning, inscriptional flavor, while the lowercase keeps a bookish serif skeleton that’s visibly distressed. Numerals follow the same worn treatment, with irregular curves and occasional bite-like voids along the outlines, helping the texture remain consistent across mixed content.
