This is a strongly contrasted serif with a vertical, Didone-like stress and crisp, hairline serifs. Thick vertical stems pair with extremely thin horizontals and joins, creating sharp light–dark rhythm across words. Serifs are fine and clean rather than slabby, with minimal bracketing and occasional teardrop-like transitions. Many letters show rounded/ball terminals and pronounced curves (notably in S, J, a, g), while bowls are broad and tightly enclosed, giving a dense, ink-rich texture in text. Figures are similarly high-contrast with elegant curves and fine entry/exit strokes.

Best suited for headlines, cover lines, pull quotes, and other display roles where its contrast and refined serifs can be appreciated. It can work well for luxury-leaning branding, mastheads, and poster typography, particularly in high-resolution print or carefully tuned digital settings.

The overall tone is commanding and polished, with a distinctly editorial, high-fashion formality. Its dramatic contrast and sharp detailing convey sophistication and seriousness, leaning classic rather than casual. The heavy presence in the black strokes also gives it a poster-like confidence suited to attention-grabbing settings.

The font appears designed to deliver a modernized classic serif voice with dramatic contrast and a bold, editorial presence. Its fine serifs and vertical stress aim for elegance and prestige, while the dense black strokes ensure impact in display typography.

In the sample text, the high contrast produces a strong shimmer: thin strokes can appear delicate next to the dominant verticals, especially at smaller sizes. The design favors crisp reproduction where hairlines remain visible, and it reads as intentionally stylized rather than purely utilitarian.
