A very heavy slab serif with broad proportions and compact, squared-off counters. Strokes are thick and relatively even, with subtle contrast and pronounced slab serifs that often show gentle bracketing and small notches that evoke an ink-trap-like carving. The forms are round-shouldered rather than geometric, giving curves (C, G, O) a soft, inflated feel while maintaining firm, flat terminals. Lowercase shapes are sturdy and compact, with short ascenders/descenders and a dense overall color; figures are similarly robust and built for high impact.

Best suited to high-impact display typography such as posters, headlines, storefront or wayfinding signage, and bold packaging systems where strong silhouettes matter. It can also work for short logotypes or badges that benefit from a sturdy, vintage-inspired slab presence.

The font reads as bold and assured, with a nostalgic, wood-type/print-shop flavor. Its chunky slabs and softened corners give it an approachable, workmanlike tone—more friendly and retro than formal—while still projecting authority and immediacy.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum presence with a classic slab-serif voice, combining wood-type-inspired mass with softened, readable curves and distinctive slab details for character.

The heavy weight and tight interior spaces make the design excel at display sizes, while small sizes may require generous tracking to keep counters from closing up. The distinctive notched slab treatment adds texture and character that becomes more apparent as the size increases.
