A sculpted serif with strong stroke contrast and crisp, wedge-like terminals that often flare into sharp, bracketed serifs. Vertical stems read sturdy and dominant, while thin horizontals and hairline joins create a bright, rhythmic texture. Counters are generally open and oval, with compact apertures and pronounced joins that give the letters a chiseled, engraved feel. The uppercase shows stately proportions and firm, triangular finishing strokes; the lowercase keeps a moderate x-height with sturdy bowls and tight, controlled curves, producing a dense, print-forward color in text.

Well-suited to headlines and subheads where contrast and sharp serifs can carry a strong editorial voice. It also fits book covers, magazine typography, and poster settings that want a classic, authoritative tone with dramatic detail. In longer text, it will work best when given comfortable size and leading so the fine strokes remain clear.

The overall tone is classical and ceremonial, balancing elegance with a firm, declarative presence. Its sharp terminals and high-contrast modeling add drama and a slightly historic, bookish flavor, making the voice feel confident and editorial rather than casual.

The design appears intended to translate traditional, high-contrast serif modeling into a bolder, more graphic voice through flared wedge terminals and crisp bracketing. It aims for a premium, print-centric look that delivers impact in display use while retaining recognizable classical structure.

Spacing appears relatively tight at display sizes, creating a compact, impactful word shape. Diagonals (notably in V, W, X, and Y) terminate with pointed wedges that emphasize direction and add snap, while round letters like O and Q show pronounced thick–thin modulation for a more theatrical silhouette.
