A wide, high-contrast serif with vertical stress and crisp, finely tapered hairlines against heavy main strokes. Serifs are sharp and mostly unbracketed, giving the letterforms a clean, chiseled edge. Counters are generous and the overall rhythm is spacious, with pronounced thick–thin transitions that read especially strongly in rounds like O/C and in diagonals like V/W. Several lowercase forms show distinctive ball or teardrop terminals (notably on j and y), adding a slightly decorative finish within an otherwise disciplined, editorial structure.

Best suited for display applications such as headlines, magazine titles, pull quotes, posters, and brand marks where high contrast and wide proportions can create impact. It can also work for short subheads or high-visibility typographic moments when set with ample spacing and sufficient size to preserve the delicate hairlines.

The font projects a polished, high-end tone with a dramatic, print-forward presence. Its sharp contrast and wide stance feel fashion-oriented and authoritative, suited to refined, statement typography rather than casual text.

The design appears intended to deliver a contemporary Didone-like display voice: wide, imposing shapes paired with sharp, refined detailing and dramatic contrast. The added ball-terminal accents in select lowercase glyphs suggest an aim to balance strict elegance with a touch of character for distinctive editorial typography.

In the sample text, the dark color and strong stroke modulation create a commanding texture at larger sizes, while the finest hairlines and sharp joins suggest it benefits from comfortable display sizing and good contrast in output. Numerals appear similarly stylized, with curving, high-contrast forms that match the caps’ theatrical weight and silhouette.
