A flared serif with an incised, calligraphic construction: stems swell gently and finish in tapered, wedge-like terminals rather than bracketed serifs. The stroke contrast stays modest, with rounded joins and subtle modulation that reads as pen- or chisel-influenced. Uppercase forms are broad and open with distinctive pointed spur details on curves and diagonals, while the lowercase shows a traditional two-storey “a,” a single-storey “g,” and compact, slightly lively proportions that give the text line a textured rhythm. Numerals echo the same tapered endings and softly sculpted curves, keeping a consistent, hand-shaped feel across the set.

Well suited to display roles such as book and chapter titles, fantasy or historical cover design, posters, and themed branding. It can also work for short passages, pull quotes, menus, or packaging where a handcrafted, old-world texture is an asset rather than a distraction.

The overall tone feels archaic and narrative—evoking illuminated manuscripts, fantasy titles, and old-world signage. Its sharpened terminals and sculpted curves add a hint of drama and mystery without becoming overly ornate, lending a crafted, folkloric character.

The design appears intended to translate incised or calligraphic letterforms into a consistent text/display face, prioritizing character and atmosphere through flared terminals, tapered strokes, and subtly dramatic silhouettes. It balances legibility with distinctive detailing to deliver an antique, narrative voice.

At larger sizes the pointed terminals and flared strokes become a defining feature, creating sparkle and a subtly spiky silhouette; in continuous text the texture remains even but more decorative than purely utilitarian. The design’s consistency across caps, lowercase, and figures supports cohesive branding where a historical or handcrafted voice is desired.
