A monolinear, typewriter-like serif with blunt terminals and noticeably irregular contours. Strokes show soft waviness, uneven ink density, and occasional blotting that creates small bulges and nicks along stems and curves. The serifs are short and sturdy, with a slightly slabby feel, and the overall spacing follows a fixed-width rhythm that keeps texture consistent across lines. Bowls and counters stay fairly open, while the distressed perimeter gives each glyph a subtly unique, printed-from-worn-type look.

Well-suited to display and short-form text where a tactile, printed texture is desirable—such as noir or thriller titling, dossier-style graphics, vintage posters, zines, and thematic editorial pull quotes. It can also work for longer passages when the goal is an intentionally rough, photocopy/typewritten page texture rather than a clean reading experience.

The font conveys an analog, documentary tone—suggestive of stamped paperwork, old manuscripts, or photocopied pages. Its roughened edges and inky texture add tension and atmosphere, making it feel archival, clandestine, and slightly ominous without becoming illegible.

The design appears intended to simulate the imperfect output of mechanical typing or letterpress printing—capturing worn type, uneven inking, and paper/ink interaction while maintaining a structured, fixed-width cadence for predictable layout.

The distressing is consistent across uppercase, lowercase, and numerals, producing a steady “dirty” color in paragraphs. Round characters (like O, C, e) show the most wobble and ink spread, while verticals retain a firm, mechanical stance that preserves readability despite the wear.
