A calligraphic old-style serif with gently bracketed serifs, slightly irregular stroke edges, and a lively, hand-inked texture. The outlines feel subtly rough and organic rather than mechanically smooth, with soft swelling at joins and tapered terminals that keep the rhythm buoyant. Proportions lean traditional: compact lowercase with modest ascenders and descenders, round forms that are slightly pinched in places, and capitals that read sturdy and classical without becoming rigid. Numerals follow the same textured, inked character and sit comfortably alongside the letters.

Well suited to book and long-form editorial where a historical, crafted texture is desirable, as well as packaging and labels that benefit from an artisanal or heritage cue. It also works effectively for posters and titles when a classic serif voice with a hand-rendered edge is needed.

The overall tone is antiquarian and human, like printed text pulled from an older book or a handmade broad-nib/pen interpretation of a classic serif. It feels warm and slightly whimsical, suggesting craft, folklore, or historical ambience rather than modern neutrality.

The design appears intended to blend classical old-style structure with a deliberately imperfect, ink-on-paper finish, capturing the warmth of calligraphy and early printing while remaining legible in continuous reading.

In running text the irregularities add charm and help break up uniformity, but they also make the color a bit mottled at small sizes compared with cleaner serifs. The serifing and stroke modulation stay consistent across uppercase and lowercase, reinforcing a cohesive, traditional voice.
