A high-contrast serif with flared, tapering stroke endings that swell into triangular serifs and soft wedge terminals. Curves are full and slightly irregular in a humanist, calligraphy-informed way, with noticeable modulation through bowls and diagonals. Uppercase forms show lively, sometimes idiosyncratic details (including a decorative ampersand and a more embellished W), while lowercase maintains a readable rhythm with compact joins, teardrop-like terminals, and a gently varied texture across words. Numerals are stout and expressive, matching the sharp-but-organic serif treatment and the strong thick–thin pattern.

Well suited to book covers, editorial headlines, and posters where a classic serif voice with extra personality is desirable. It can also work in branding and packaging that benefits from a crafted, heritage feel; for longer text, it will read best at comfortable sizes where the strong contrast and lively terminals can breathe.

The overall tone feels literary and characterful—part classic book serif, part theatrical display—balancing tradition with a playful, hand-shaped edge. It conveys warmth and a slightly gothic or fairy-tale mood without becoming overtly ornate, making text feel authored rather than purely mechanical.

The design appears intended to merge traditional serif structure with flared, calligraphic finishing to create a distinctive, literary display texture. Its expressive terminals and rhythmic contrast suggest a focus on evocative titles and branding rather than strictly utilitarian neutrality.

The face produces a pronounced black-and-white rhythm, with crisp hairlines against heavy stems and flared endings that create sparkling word shapes. Letterforms lean toward expressive silhouettes over strict rationalization, giving headings and short passages a distinctive voice and a subtly vintage presence.
