A high-contrast serif with calligraphic modulation and a strongly sculpted, slightly flared stroke rhythm. Serifs are sharp and wedge-like with gentle bracketing, while many joins end in rounded ball terminals, giving the letterforms a lively, ornamental finish. Capitals feel stately and slightly condensed, with crisp apexes on A/V/W and distinctive curved construction in C/G/S; the lowercase shows compact bowls, open apertures, and emphatic ascenders/descenders. Numerals are old-style in spirit, with varied widths and pronounced thick–thin transitions that match the text color of the letters.

Best suited to display settings where contrast and ornament can be appreciated—headlines, pull quotes, book and magazine covers, posters, and brand marks that want a classic-but-quirky voice. It can also work for short editorial passages at comfortable sizes where its lively terminals and strong modulation remain clear.

The overall tone is dramatic and literary, balancing formal editorial authority with a playful, storybook flair. The ball terminals and sweeping curves add a theatrical, slightly eccentric character that reads as vintage and expressive rather than strictly classical.

The design appears intended to reinterpret a traditional serif with added flourish—combining classical proportions and strong contrast with decorative terminals and energetic curves to create a distinctive, attention-getting text color for titles and featured copy.

Texture on the line is assertive: heavy verticals and fine hairlines create sparkle at larger sizes, while the pointed serifs and curved terminals keep the shapes from feeling rigid. The design’s personality is most apparent in the curving capitals and the lowercases with turned-in terminals, which contribute to an animated, hand-influenced feel.
