A flared serif with sculpted, wedge-like terminals and a subtly calligraphic stroke flow. Stems swell into pointed or bracketless-looking flare endings, producing crisp entry/exit strokes and a slightly engraved, display-driven texture. Curves are compact and taut, counters are relatively tight, and the overall rhythm is vertical and dense; rounded letters (C, O, S) show sharpened terminals that keep the silhouette lively rather than purely geometric. The lowercase maintains a steady, readable build with noticeable character in the ear/terminals and a distinctive, curly-tailed “t” and “y,” while numerals follow the same tapered, serifed logic for a cohesive line of figures.

Best suited to headlines, titling, and short-to-medium passages where the sharp flares and compact counters can be appreciated without crowding. It works well for posters, book covers, packaging, and branding that call for a vintage or theatrical voice, and it can also support pull quotes or subheads when set with ample spacing.

The font reads as classic and stagey, with a confident, old-world formality tempered by playful, idiosyncratic details. Its flared endings and tight interior spaces give it an expressive, slightly gothic-leaning editorial tone—more theatrical and storybook than strictly institutional.

The design appears intended to combine traditional serif authority with a more expressive, flared, display sensibility. Its sharpened terminals and compact proportions aim to deliver strong presence at larger sizes while preserving enough structure for readable text in controlled layouts.

The face produces strong word shapes and a pronounced black-and-white pattern, especially in mixed-case settings where the pointed terminals and compact counters add sparkle. In longer lines it stays legible, but the energetic terminals and narrow internal spacing suggest it will feel most comfortable when given generous tracking and line spacing.
