A heavy, monoline typewriter face with compact, blocky letterforms and slab-like terminals. Strokes are consistently thick, with soft, irregular contours that suggest uneven inking and slight mechanical vibration. Counters are relatively small and rounded, and joins are sturdy, producing a dense texture at text sizes. The overall rhythm is rigid and evenly spaced, but the edge wear and subtle shape wobble keep the color from feeling sterile.

Best suited to display and short-form text where a rugged typewriter feel is desirable—posters, album or event graphics, book or magazine headings, product packaging, and themed signage. It can also work for editorial callouts, captions, and UI labels when you want an intentionally imperfect, printed texture rather than a clean system monospace.

The tone is unmistakably analog and workmanlike, evoking stamped paperwork, carbon copies, and aged office ephemera. Its roughened edges add a gritty, handmade energy that reads as vintage, slightly rebellious, and tactile rather than polished or corporate.

The design appears intended to recreate a classic monospaced typewriter impression while emphasizing age and physical printing artifacts. By combining sturdy slabs with controlled distress and softened contours, it aims to deliver instant period character and an authentic, ink-on-paper texture in digital typesetting.

The distressed perimeter treatment is consistent across caps, lowercase, and numerals, creating a cohesive ‘used’ impression without breaking basic legibility. Rounded forms like O/0 and bowls show the most visible wobble, while straighter stems and slabs stay comparatively firm, balancing character with readability.
