A refined serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and sharply tapered serifs that read as lightly bracketed and cleanly finished. Capitals are broad and steady with crisp joins and a slightly calligraphic stress visible in rounded forms like C, G, and O. Lowercase shows a traditional text rhythm with sturdy stems, open counters, and clear, angled terminals on letters like a, c, e, and r; the two-storey g and the slightly earred details reinforce a classic text-serif structure. Numerals appear proportional and high-contrast, with a notably curved 2 and a compact 3, maintaining the same crisp serif language as the letters.

Well-suited to editorial typography such as magazines, long-form articles, and book interiors where a classic serif voice is desired. It also performs convincingly for display applications—chapter openers, headlines, pull quotes, and formal materials like invitations or programs—where its crisp contrast and dignified capitals can stand out.

The overall tone is traditional and composed, projecting an editorial seriousness with a polished, literary feel. Its high-contrast sparkle and controlled proportions suggest formality without becoming ornamental, giving it a confident, cultured presence in setting.

The design appears intended as a conventional, high-contrast text serif that balances readability with a refined, print-oriented elegance. Its consistent serif treatment and classical proportions suggest a focus on dependable setting for editorial and literary work while remaining capable in larger display sizes.

In the text sample, the spacing and color hold together well at large sizes, with strong vertical emphasis and clear punctuation. The contrast creates a bright page texture, while the broad capitals and generous sidebearings lend a stately, uncluttered cadence.
