A crisp, high-contrast serif with strong thick–thin modulation and clean, sharply finished terminals. Serifs are small to medium and mostly bracketed, giving strokes a controlled, sculpted transition into the stems. Capitals feel stately and well-proportioned, with generous counters and a measured rhythm, while the lowercase shows traditional detailing such as a two-storey “g,” a compact “e,” and a pointed, descending “y.” Numerals match the text color and contrast, with a clearly elliptical “0” and a more calligraphic “9.”

Well-suited to long-form reading in books, magazines, and editorial layouts where a classic serif voice is desired. It can also serve effectively for headlines, pull quotes, and institutional or academic materials that benefit from a formal, established tone.

The overall tone is classic and literary, projecting formality and trust. Its sharpness and contrast add a refined, editorial character that reads as traditional rather than casual.

The design appears intended as a conventional text serif that balances elegance with clarity through high contrast, traditional serif construction, and familiar letterforms. It aims to deliver a dependable, print-classic texture for continuous reading while retaining enough sharpness for display use at larger sizes.

Diagonal strokes (notably in V, W, X, and the uppercase A) are clean and decisive, and the italics are not present in the samples, reinforcing a straightforward upright presentation. The punctuation and apostrophe style in the text sample supports a conventional, print-oriented feel.
