This serif shows pronounced thick–thin modulation with crisp hairlines and sturdy vertical stems. Serifs are finely bracketed, with pointed, wedge-like terminals that give the outlines a chiseled, high-end finish. Proportions feel vertically oriented: capitals are tall and dignified, while lowercase forms keep a relatively tall x-height and compact counters, producing a tight, steady texture in paragraph settings. Curves are smooth and controlled (not overly round), and joins stay clean, creating an even rhythm across both roman and italic-less text samples.

Well-suited to editorial environments such as magazine typography, book jackets, and refined headline work where contrast can be appreciated at larger sizes. It can also support upscale branding and packaging, and works effectively for short-to-medium text when ample size and leading preserve the hairline detail.

The overall tone is polished and editorial, balancing classic bookish tradition with a sharper, more contemporary edge. Its contrast and tapered detailing suggest sophistication and restraint rather than warmth, lending a sense of authority and elegance.

The design appears intended to deliver a contemporary take on a classic text serif: familiar proportions and reading rhythm paired with sharper terminals and pronounced modulation for a more fashion-forward, premium character.

Several glyphs emphasize calligraphic influence through tapered strokes and subtly angled stress, especially in letters like S, C, and G. Numerals echo the same contrast and refinement, reading well as display figures while still feeling consistent with text use.
