A refined serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and a predominantly vertical axis. Stems read as sturdy and dark, while joins, crossbars, and serifs taper quickly into very fine hairlines, producing sharp, high-clarity silhouettes. Serifs are small and precise with minimal bracketing, and many curves show clean, controlled transitions that emphasize contrast. Proportions are slightly narrow and the lowercase sits with a comparatively low x-height, giving the design a tall, airy rhythm in text and a sculpted presence in display sizes.

Best suited to headlines, subheads, pull quotes, and other editorial or brand moments where contrast and refinement are an asset. It can also work for upscale identity systems and event materials such as invitations, menus, and programs, especially when set at sizes that preserve the hairline details.

The overall tone is polished and high-end, mixing classical bookish cues with a modern, fashion-forward crispness. The strong contrast and fine detailing create a sense of luxury and ceremony, while the upright stance keeps it composed and editorial rather than playful.

The design appears intended to evoke the tradition of high-contrast serifs while leaning into a contemporary, polished finish. Its combination of tall proportions, crisp serifs, and dramatic modulation suggests a focus on sophisticated display typography with an elegant, premium voice.

In the samples, the thinnest strokes become extremely delicate, so the texture shifts noticeably between dark verticals and bright counters. Capitals look particularly stately and cinematic, while the lowercase maintains a light, refined cadence that benefits from generous spacing and comfortable sizes.
