A slanted, calligraphy-driven serif with lively, variable letter widths and a hand-inked rhythm. Strokes show moderate contrast with pointed terminals and wedge-like serifs, while many joins taper into sharp hooks and flicks. Edges are intentionally irregular, as if scraped or worn, producing small nicks and burrs that break the otherwise smooth curves. The overall spacing feels slightly uneven in an expressive way, and distinctive swash-like forms appear on several capitals and descenders.

Best suited to short, high-impact typography such as titles, headings, and logo-like lockups where its textured edges and sharp terminals can be appreciated. It works well for atmospheric themes—horror, fantasy, gothic romance, or vintage occult styling—on posters, book covers, packaging accents, and entertainment branding. For extended paragraphs, it will read more as a decorative voice than a neutral text face.

The font conveys a dark, theatrical tone—part blackletter-adjacent, part handwritten script—suggesting mystery, folklore, and ritual. Its roughened texture adds grit and age, like old print or ink that has bled and chipped over time. The italic movement and sharp terminals heighten a sense of urgency and drama.

The design appears intended to merge italic calligraphic letterforms with a deliberately worn finish, creating a dramatic display face that feels aged and slightly menacing. Its goal is to deliver instant mood through pointed details, irregular texture, and an expressive, hand-rendered cadence.

Capitals have a formal, slightly ceremonial presence with decorative spur details, while lowercase forms lean more cursive and fluid. Numerals are straightforward but inherit the same chiseled terminals, keeping the overall texture consistent across mixed text. The distressed detailing is visible at display sizes and can accumulate into a strong texture in longer settings.
