A tall, condensed display face with a hand-drawn, brush-pen construction and visibly roughened edges. Strokes show modest thick–thin modulation with tapered terminals and occasional pointed, hook-like finishes that create a slightly prickly silhouette. Letterforms are irregular in rhythm and width, with lively baseline wobble and varied stroke texture that reads like dry ink or worn printing. Uppercase forms are narrow and elongated; lowercase is smaller with a notably short x-height and thin, upright stems that keep counters tight and vertical.

Best suited to short display text—titles, headers, and branding moments where a handmade, spooky flavor is desired. It works well for seasonal/Halloween materials, fantasy or mystery packaging, and stylized editorial pull quotes, especially when set with generous tracking and ample line spacing.

The overall tone is eerie-but-playful, combining gothic spikiness with a casual handwritten looseness. Its uneven texture and sharp terminals evoke potion labels, haunted signage, and mischievous storybook chapter titles rather than formal calligraphy.

The design appears intended to deliver an expressive, hand-rendered look that feels slightly worn and enchanted, prioritizing atmosphere and personality over strict uniformity. Its condensed stance and textured strokes are tuned for attention-grabbing display settings where an intentionally imperfect, “crafted” finish is a feature.

In the samples, long ascenders and occasional exaggerated capitals create strong vertical emphasis, while the distressed stroke texture remains consistent across letters and numerals. The narrow proportions and busy edges can reduce clarity at small sizes, but add character at headline scales.
