A display-oriented serif with pronounced contrast and flared, wedge-like terminals that broaden at stroke ends. Stems are sturdy and slightly sculpted, with smooth transitions into serifs and a rhythmic, calligraphic modulation rather than purely mechanical stress. Counters are generous and rounded in letters like O and C, while diagonals and joins show subtle shaping that gives the outlines a carved, chiseled feel. Lowercase forms are compact with clear entry/exit strokes, and figures echo the same high-contrast, flared treatment for a cohesive texture.

Best suited to headlines, titles, and short passages where the flared terminals and contrast can be appreciated. It works well for magazine mastheads, book and album covers, packaging, and identity work that wants a traditional yet energetic serif voice. For body copy it will be most comfortable at larger sizes with ample leading to keep the high-contrast rhythm from feeling dense.

The overall tone is classic and emphatic, evoking editorial authority and traditional craft. Its dramatic stroke contrast and flaring terminals add a sense of ceremony and impact, making text feel formal, confident, and slightly theatrical.

The design appears intended to blend classical serif structure with expressive flaring and calligraphic contrast, producing a distinctive display face that signals authority while remaining visually animated. It prioritizes strong silhouettes, elegant modulation, and memorable terminals for impactful typographic statements.

In running text the strong modulation creates a lively light–dark pattern, with distinctive terminals that remain visible even at smaller sizes. The design reads as intentionally display-led: large sizes emphasize the sculpted ends, while tighter settings will increase the bold texture and contrast-driven sparkle.
