A heavy blackletter with chunky, angular construction and broken, chiseled-looking contours. Strokes show sharp internal notches and wedge-like terminals, but the edges are intentionally irregular, creating a distressed, hand-rendered texture across the alphabet. Counters are tight and often partially pinched, and many joins feel compressed, producing a dense, compact rhythm. Capitals are broad and blocky with pronounced vertical emphasis, while lowercase forms remain stout with short ascenders and descenders, maintaining a consistent, dark color on the page.

Best suited to display settings where the strong blackletter silhouette and distressed texture can read clearly—such as posters, headlines, album artwork, event promos, and bold brand marks. It works well for short phrases, logotypes, and thematic packaging where atmosphere and impact are more important than continuous-text readability.

The overall tone is dark and forceful, mixing medieval formality with a rugged, weathered attitude. Its distressed surfaces add tension and grit, giving text an ominous, ritualistic feel. The result reads as dramatic and commanding rather than delicate or refined.

The design appears intended to evoke traditional blackletter structure while adding a deliberately worn, hand-cut finish. Its exaggerated weight and fractured edges aim to maximize visual drama and a sense of age, intensity, and grit in modern display applications.

In longer lines the heavy texture creates strong visual impact but can reduce clarity at smaller sizes due to tight counters and the intentionally rough outlines. The numerals match the same broken, carved style and sit with similar density to the letters, reinforcing a cohesive display character.
