A heavy, upright display face with chunky strokes and aggressively roughened contours. Letterforms are mostly sans in construction, but the silhouettes are irregular and torn-looking, with uneven edges, small gouges, and occasional interior voids that mimic worn printing or scraped ink. Proportions run broad with sturdy verticals and simple geometry underneath the texture, while spacing feels slightly unsettled due to the distressed outlines. The lowercase maintains a straightforward, readable structure with a normal x-height, but the texture adds pronounced noise in counters and terminals.

Best suited to short, high-impact settings such as posters, title cards, album/EP art, game or film titles, and attention-grabbing packaging. It can work for brief subheads or pull quotes when ample size and contrast are available, but the heavy texture makes it less appropriate for long-form reading.

The overall tone is gritty and abrasive, evoking DIY print, underground flyers, and ominous genre cues. The distressed texture lends a sense of decay and urgency—more confrontational than nostalgic—suggesting danger, dirt, and rough handling.

The design appears intended to deliver a rugged, distressed display voice that feels printed, worn, and imperfect. By keeping the underlying letter construction simple while heavily texturing edges and counters, it prioritizes atmosphere and impact without abandoning legibility.

The distressing is consistent across uppercase, lowercase, and numerals, creating a cohesive “eroded ink” effect at text sizes. Round characters like O/Q and numerals show visibly chewed edges, and diagonals (V/W/X) keep their basic forms while picking up uneven nicks that increase visual motion.
