A calligraphic serif with noticeably modulated strokes and a gently irregular, hand-cut feel in the curves and terminals. Serifs are bracketed and often wedge-like, with softly tapered ends and slightly uneven stroke edges that keep the rhythm lively rather than mechanical. Counters are open and rounded, with diagonal stress showing through in letters like O, C, and e, while capitals carry restrained, old-style proportions and a slightly compact stance. The lowercase has small, crisp details (two-storey a, compact e, modest ascenders/descenders) that read well in continuous text while preserving a subtly textured color on the page.

Well suited to book interiors, long-form editorial typography, and cultural or academic print where a traditional serif voice is desired. It also works for headings, pull quotes, packaging copy, and formal stationery that benefits from a crafted, heritage tone rather than a strictly neutral texture.

The tone is traditional and literary, evoking printed books, historical documents, and humanist craftsmanship. Its gentle irregularities and warm modulation add a personable, organic voice without becoming overly decorative, making it feel established, trustworthy, and quietly expressive.

The design appears intended to translate broad-nib and early print influences into a practical text serif: readable, warm, and rhythmically lively, with enough stroke contrast and terminal character to convey authenticity in both titles and continuous reading.

The numerals share the same calligraphic modulation and tapered terminals, giving figures a cohesive, period-leaning character. In the sample text, spacing and rhythm support paragraph reading, with a slightly textured surface that becomes part of the aesthetic at display sizes and in longer lines.
