This serif face shows an oldstyle, humanist construction with gently bracketed serifs and subtly tapered, calligraphic stroke endings. Curves are softly modeled and slightly elliptical, with a restrained contrast that stays even through joins and transitions. Proportions lean toward generous capitals and relatively small lowercase, and the rhythm is calm and steady with moderate spacing. Several capitals feature distinctive, lightly flared or sweeping terminals (notably on E, L, Q, and Z), giving the design a cultivated, slightly idiosyncratic character without becoming decorative.

It is well suited to continuous reading in books and long-form editorial layouts where a classic serif texture is desired. The distinctive capitals can add personality to chapter titles, pull quotes, or formal materials such as programs and invitations, especially when set with comfortable leading and not overly tight tracking.

The overall tone is traditional and bookish, with a quiet elegance that feels literary and institutional. The occasional flourish in the capitals adds a hint of historical charm, suggesting careful craft and a lightly mannered formality rather than strict modern neutrality.

The design appears intended as a conventional text serif with a humanist backbone, prioritizing readable, even texture while incorporating a few refined, calligraphy-derived gestures to give the uppercase a memorable signature.

Numerals appear lining and straightforward, with open, readable shapes and modest terminal shaping that matches the text forms. The sample text shows smooth word color and clear differentiation between similar forms, while the capital set provides a recognizable voice for headings or titling.
