A slender serif display face with crisp, slightly spiky wedge serifs and irregular, ink-worn terminals that give strokes a roughened edge. Curves are clean but not perfectly smooth, and many joins end in small ticks or barbs, creating a lively, uneven rhythm across the alphabet. The overall construction stays largely classical in skeleton (roman proportions with single-storey a and g), while the finishing details introduce deliberate wobble and texture. Numerals echo the same sharp terminal treatment, with simplified forms and occasional hooked ends that read more decorative than strictly text-oriented.

Best suited to display settings such as headlines, poster copy, book and album covers, packaging, and themed ephemera where its eccentric terminals can be appreciated. It can also work for short blocks of flavored text—pull quotes, chapter titles, or invitations—when you want a quirky, aged-print feel without heavy ornamentation.

The tone is playful and mischievous, like an old printed prop or a quirky storybook caption that’s been distressed by time. Its prickly serifs and imperfect edges add a sense of oddity and character, pushing the voice toward humorous, offbeat, and slightly gothic-tinged whimsy rather than formal refinement.

The design appears intended to merge a familiar serif foundation with intentionally imperfect finishing, producing a decorative roman that feels hand-affected and slightly distressed. Its goal is expressive character and memorability rather than neutral readability, offering an off-kilter voice for themed and playful typography.

At larger sizes the irregular terminals become a defining feature, but in running text they can visually buzz, especially where repeated verticals and tight spacing amplify the jagged details. The distinctive shapes of Q, J, and the hooked lowercase forms add personality, while the overall rhythm remains consistent enough to hold together in short passages.
