A decorative serif design with angular, broken strokes and sharp spur-like terminals that create a thorny silhouette. Stems are mostly straight but intentionally irregular, with rough edges, abrupt cornering, and small incisions that mimic chipped or splintered carving. Serifs read as pointed wedges rather than smooth brackets, and curves are faceted into polygonal arcs, giving rounds like C, O, and G a cut-out, uneven feel. Spacing and widths vary noticeably across letters, producing a lively, slightly unruly rhythm in text.

Best used at display sizes where the jagged terminals and carved texture can be appreciated—posters, title cards, packaging accents, and thematic branding for fantasy or spooky concepts. It can work for short UI labels in games or event graphics, but dense paragraphs will feel busy due to the high edge activity and variable rhythm.

The overall tone is mischievous and edgy, mixing a medieval-blackletter echo with a wacky, handmade roughness. It feels playful but aggressive—more “spiked” than elegant—suited to designs that want a gritty, off-kilter personality.

The design appears intended to deliver a one-off, characterful voice that feels hand-hewn and slightly chaotic, prioritizing expressive texture over smooth readability. Its spiky serifs and faceted curves suggest a deliberate “carved” or “torn” aesthetic for stylized, attention-grabbing typography.

The font stays coherent through consistent thorn-like detailing at stroke ends and corners, but avoids rigid calligraphic logic, making it read as intentionally distressed rather than traditionally historical. Numerals follow the same sharp, chipped construction, helping headlines and short phrases keep a unified texture.
