A distressed display face with thick, uneven strokes and aggressively ragged contours that read like torn paper or dried ink bleed. Letterforms are mostly upright with simple, blocky construction, but the outlines wobble and chip away, creating irregular counters and inconsistent terminals. Curves and diagonals appear slightly broken and lumpy, and round characters (O, C, G, Q) feel gnawed rather than smooth. Spacing and widths vary from glyph to glyph, reinforcing a deliberately unrefined, handmade texture across both uppercase and lowercase.

Best suited to short, high-impact copy such as poster headlines, title cards, packaging accents, and editorial callouts where texture is an asset. It can also work for themed materials—Halloween promotions, indie music artwork, or DIY zines—when used at larger sizes with ample spacing and clean supporting type.

The overall tone is quirky and unsettling at once—like a playful horror prop, punk zine lettering, or a spooky handmade sign. Its noisy edges and imperfect rhythm add energy and mischief, making text feel animated, gritty, and a bit chaotic rather than polished or formal.

The design appears intended to mimic an intentionally degraded, hand-cut or ink-stamped look, prioritizing texture and personality over typographic refinement. Its irregular edges and variable glyph widths suggest a one-off, expressive display style meant to stand out and set a distinctive, offbeat mood.

In paragraph-like settings the texture dominates quickly, so legibility depends heavily on size and generous tracking. Uppercase forms stay relatively sturdy, while smaller details in lowercase (especially bowls and joins) can visually clog due to the rough perimeter and speckled bite-outs.
