A very heavy, high-contrast serif with broad proportions and pronounced bracketed serifs. Strokes show a clear thick–thin pattern with hairline joins and crisp wedge-like finishing, while many curves end in rounded, teardrop-style terminals that add a slightly calligraphic feel. Counters are generous for the weight, and the overall rhythm is lively, with noticeable width variation from letter to letter and a slightly “inked” silhouette created by deep joins and strong curves.

Best suited to large-size typography such as headlines, cover titles, pull quotes, and branding where its heavy contrast and expressive terminals can be appreciated. It can also work for short editorial subheads and deck text, especially in print or high-resolution settings where the fine hairlines remain clear.

The tone is traditional and authoritative, like a display cut drawn from book and newspaper heritage, but with enough flourish in its terminals to feel expressive. It reads bold and confident, with a slightly theatrical, headline-forward presence rather than a purely neutral text color.

The design appears intended to deliver a classic serif voice with maximum impact: strong vertical emphasis, refined contrast, and decorative terminal details that keep large text engaging. It prioritizes presence and character over neutrality, aiming for a confident, heritage-leaning display role.

Uppercase forms are steady and monumental, while the lowercase shows more personality through rounded terminals and a softly swashed feel in letters like a, g, and y. Numerals and punctuation carry the same weighty contrast and strong serif treatment, maintaining a cohesive, poster-ready texture.
