A robust text serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and sharply defined, bracketed wedge serifs. The letterforms show compact proportions, relatively tight apertures, and strong vertical stress, giving the design a dense, ink-friendly rhythm. Curves are firm and controlled, terminals are crisp, and the overall color on the page is dark and even despite the high contrast. The lowercase has a traditional structure with a two-storey “a” and “g”, and the numerals appear oldstyle with varying heights and prominent serifs.
