A high-contrast serif with bracketed serifs, sharp triangular terminals, and a steady, upright rhythm. Curves are full and smooth with clearly tapered joins, while straight stems stay firm and vertical, producing a clean, editorial texture. Capitals are sturdy and traditional, and the lowercase shows compact, well-contained counters with a slightly calligraphic modulation. Numerals follow the same crisp contrast and serifed construction, reading clearly at text sizes.

It performs well for book and long-form editorial typography where a traditional serif texture is desired, and it also holds up for headlines and pull quotes thanks to its strong contrast and crisp terminals. It’s a good fit for classic branding, academic or institutional materials, and formal print pieces that benefit from a conventional, trustworthy tone.

The overall tone is classic and literary, with a formal, institutional polish. Its sharp finishing and pronounced contrast give it an authoritative voice suited to serious, established contexts rather than casual or playful settings.

The font appears designed to deliver a conventional, highly readable serif voice with a refined, high-contrast finish—balancing classic book typography cues with enough crispness to work confidently in display settings.

The design relies on consistent stroke modulation and neatly shaped serifs to create a bright, structured page color. Round letters like C, O, and G feel generously drawn, while diagonals (V, W, X, Y) keep crisp endpoints that reinforce the font’s refined, traditional character.
