A sturdy slab-serif with broad, squared terminals and clearly bracketed joins that soften the slabs into the stems. Strokes are heavy with noticeable thick–thin modulation, especially in curved letters, and counters are tight, giving the face a dense, emphatic texture. Proportions lean compact and tall in the lowercase, with a large x-height and short ascenders/descenders, while capitals read wide-shouldered and stable. Curves are slightly squared-off and the overall rhythm is steady, with strong vertical emphasis and confident, rectangular silhouettes in both letters and numerals.

Well-suited to headlines, posters, and large editorial settings where strong typographic presence is needed. Its sturdy slabs and compact, high-impact texture also work well for branding, labels, and packaging that benefit from a traditional, dependable voice.

The font projects an assertive, no-nonsense tone that feels rooted in traditional printing and headline typography. Its weight and squared serifs give it a rugged, workmanlike authority, while the bracketing and contrast add a touch of classic editorial refinement.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum impact and legibility in display contexts while maintaining a classic slab-serif flavor. By combining heavy, squared serifs with softened brackets and controlled contrast, it aims to feel both rugged and editorially credible.

In the sample text, the dense color and compact spacing create a strong typographic “block,” making it especially impactful at display sizes. Numerals appear robust and highly legible with firm, squared forms that match the letterfit and reinforce the overall solidity.
