A condensed serif with tall, columnar proportions and a pronounced vertical rhythm. Strokes show moderate contrast, with thin hairlines and sturdier stems, and the terminals often end in small bracketed serifs that feel slightly flared. Many joins and corners are softened with small notches and inward cuts that read like subtle ink traps, giving the letterforms a carved, slightly engraved texture. Curves are narrow and upright, counters are tight, and the overall spacing feels compact, reinforcing a strong, poster-like verticality.

Well-suited to headlines, title treatments, and packaging or poster work where a condensed footprint is useful. It can add a period flavor to book covers, cultural event identities, and editorial openers. In longer passages it will look distinctive and compact, but it benefits from generous size and spacing so its fine details don’t fill in.

The font projects a vintage, slightly theatrical tone—part Victorian display, part editorial serif. Its narrow proportions and crisp detailing feel formal and refined, while the little notches and quirky terminals add character and a hint of eccentricity. The result is confident and attention-getting without becoming fully ornamental.

This appears designed to deliver a condensed, high-impact serif voice with vintage cues and distinctive detailing. The narrow build maximizes presence in tight spaces, while the notched joins and bracketed serifs supply a signature texture that differentiates it from standard condensed romans.

Uppercase forms are especially tall and stately, while the lowercase retains the same condensed build and distinctive terminal treatment, producing a consistent texture in paragraph-like samples. Numerals share the same narrow stance and bracketed finishing, helping mixed text maintain a unified rhythm. The design reads best when allowed a bit of size, where the cut-ins and delicate hairlines can remain clear.
