A vigorous italic serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and a forward-leaning, calligraphic rhythm. The serifs are clearly bracketed and often wedge-like, with rounded joins that keep the heavy weight from feeling brittle. Counters are relatively compact and the overall color is dark and dense, with strong diagonal stress visible in rounded forms and the italic entry/exit strokes. Uppercase shapes are slightly condensed and energetic, while lowercase features include a single-storey a and g, a curved, descending f, and ball-like terminals on letters such as j and y; numerals follow the same italic, high-contrast logic with sturdy bases and tapered curves.

Well suited to headlines, subheads, and pull quotes where an italic needs to carry real weight and presence. It can also serve book covers and poster-style compositions, especially for short phrases, titles, and emphatic passages that benefit from a classic serif voice with added drama.

The tone reads traditional and editorial, like a bold magazine italic or a classic book display italic pushed for emphasis. Its sharp contrast and brisk slant add drama and urgency, while the conventional serif construction keeps it anchored in familiar, literary typography.

The design appears intended to provide a conventional text-serif foundation in a forceful italic, balancing traditional bracketed serifs with heightened contrast and a display-forward emphasis. It aims to deliver classic readability cues while amplifying motion and hierarchy for prominent typographic moments.

Spacing appears comfortable for setting at medium to large sizes, with a consistent rightward flow that creates a continuous cursive texture. The heavier weight combined with narrow apertures suggests it will look best with generous leading and in contexts where a strong typographic voice is desired.
