A crisp serif with pronounced stroke modulation and predominantly vertical stress, pairing weighty main stems with very fine hairlines. Serifs are delicate and sharply finished, lending a clean, precise edge to the forms. Capitals are tall and stately with generous internal spaces, while the lowercase shows a traditional bookish structure with a two-storey a and g, narrow joins, and neatly tapered terminals.
