A conventional text serif with pronounced thick–thin contrast and finely bracketed serifs. Curves are smooth and slightly expansive, with open counters and a steady baseline rhythm that stays calm in paragraph setting. Uppercase proportions feel generous and stable, while lowercase shows clear modulation and traditional construction, including a double‑storey “g” and well-defined joins. Numerals match the text color with similarly high-contrast strokes and compact, bookish forms.

Well-suited to book typography, magazine body copy, and other long-form editorial contexts where a traditional serif texture and strong typographic hierarchy are desired. It should also work effectively for headlines and pull quotes when set with adequate size to preserve the fine hairlines.

The overall tone is classic and editorial, conveying a composed, book-centric seriousness. Its sharp hairlines and crisp serifs add a sense of refinement and authority, making the voice feel formal without becoming decorative.

Designed to deliver a familiar, highly legible reading experience with a refined, high-contrast serif voice. The intention appears to balance elegance and clarity for mainstream editorial and publishing use, producing a polished page color and reliable rhythm across paragraphs and headings.

The spacing reads even and comfortable in running text, with clear differentiation between similar shapes (e.g., I/l and O/0) driven by serifs and contrast. The italic is not shown; the sample demonstrates a consistent roman texture across mixed case and punctuation.
