This serif face combines strong vertical strokes with sharply tapered hairlines and crisp, angular terminals. Many curves are subtly faceted, producing octagonal counters and corners—most evident in C, G, O, Q and the rounded numerals—giving the design a cut-stone, engraved feel rather than a purely smooth Didone curve. Serifs are fine and straight, generally unbracketed, with a consistent upright stance and a disciplined rhythm. Uppercase forms are sturdy and stately; the lowercase maintains a conventional structure with a relatively modest x-height and pronounced thick–thin modulation, keeping text color lively but high in sparkle.

Best suited to display and larger text settings such as headlines, book jackets, posters, and editorial titling where the faceted rounds and high contrast can be appreciated. It can also serve for pull quotes or short passages in print-forward layouts, but will generally perform strongest when given enough size and spacing for the fine details to remain clear.

The overall tone is formal and declarative, with a slightly severe, ceremonial edge created by the faceted rounds and razor-like hairlines. It reads as classic and authoritative, suggesting tradition and prestige while still feeling distinctive and slightly ornamental.

The design appears intended to reinterpret a high-contrast, vertical-stress serif with an engraved, chiseled geometry, trading soft curves for faceted shaping to create a distinctive, premium display voice while retaining familiar, readable letter structures.

The faceting introduces a distinctive texture in paragraphs, especially at larger sizes, where the polygonal shaping becomes a defining signature. Numerals echo the same chiseled construction, and the uppercase set feels particularly suited to titling thanks to its clear vertical emphasis and crisp edge quality.
