This typeface is built from tall, tightly spaced vertical stems with crisp, faceted terminals and broken, segmented curves typical of blackletter construction. Strokes show consistent, chiseled angles with diamond-like heads and feet, producing a strong vertical rhythm and a compact silhouette. Counters are small and mostly enclosed, and diagonals are used sparingly and sharply, giving letters a carved, architectural feel. Uppercase forms are especially rigid and columnar, while the lowercase maintains a consistent, upright texture with minimal roundness and pronounced internal notches.

Best suited to display applications such as posters, titles, packaging, logotypes, and editorial or cultural headlines where a historic or gothic voice is desired. It can work in short passages or pull quotes when set with generous tracking and leading, but it is most effective in larger sizes where its internal cuts and angular detailing remain clear.

The overall tone is medieval and formal, evoking manuscripts, heraldry, and traditional European signage. Its sharp geometry and dense texture feel authoritative and ceremonial, with a dramatic presence that reads as historic and serious rather than casual.

The design appears intended to deliver a classic blackletter texture with a clean, regular rhythm and sharply cut details, balancing ornamental tradition with a relatively uniform, repeatable structure for contemporary display use.

At text sizes the face creates a dark, continuous color with strong repetition of vertical strokes, so spacing and line length become important for readability. The numerals and capitals match the same faceted, blackletter logic, helping headings and initial caps feel cohesive with body settings.
