A sculpted italic serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and brisk, calligraphic stroke endings. Serifs are sharply tapered and often wedge-like, with bracketing that helps connect into the main stems while keeping the terminals crisp. Uppercase forms feel sturdy and slightly condensed in their internal counters, while the lowercase shows more movement through angled stress, open apertures, and occasional swash-like entry/exit strokes. Numerals follow the same italic rhythm, with rounded figures and energetic diagonals that read clearly at display sizes.

Well-suited to headlines, pull quotes, book and magazine typography, and other editorial applications where an italic voice is meant to carry emphasis. It can also work for branding and packaging that benefits from a traditional yet animated serif presence, especially at medium-to-large sizes.

The tone is classic and editorial with a distinctly dramatic slant—confident, formal, and a bit theatrical. It evokes traditional book typography and headline styling, adding momentum and emphasis without becoming decorative to the point of novelty.

The design appears intended to provide a confident, classical italic for display and editorial settings—combining traditional serif structure with a more calligraphic, energetic slant to increase emphasis and personality in running phrases and titles.

Rhythm is lively and forward-leaning, with noticeable variation in character widths and a strong diagonal flow across words. The contrast and sharp terminals create a crisp texture that will feel more striking in larger settings than in dense small text.
